Dr. Kulisz’s Biographical Sketch
Dr. Andre Alexander Kulisz is a native of Poland who immigrated to the
United States in 1980. He
specializes
in natural health, application of physics and mathematics in the
development of non-invasive treatments, and in the development and
management of clinical studies. He was a staff scientist at Medtronic, a
contract scientist for American Medical Systems, 3M, Novartis and other
companies for whom he developed various medical devices, subsystems and
treatments. In 1990, he established Andre Kulisz Associates in
Minneapolis, to investigate opportunities of the new, minimally invasive
and noninvasive procedures and treatments. In 1994, his company
developed an
intraurethral bladder control device.
The company was then renamed HK Medical Technologies and relocated to
San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Kulisz has a strong interest in nonsurgical and drug-free
treatments,
homeopathy,
general naturopathy (physiatrics) and treatments through general
fitness, nutrition, education,
behavioral
modifications and patient participation. Notwithstanding the acute
benefits of allopathic medicine, he believes promoting natural
modalities is essential to the long-term health and quality of life.
Since 1990, Dr. Kulisz has developed and directed various clinical
studies in the U.S. and abroad, including a one-of-a-kind clinical study
entitled "Impact of Whole Food-Based Supplements on Treatment Outcomes.”
Dr. Kulisz holds 13
patents
in the United States and over 30 in other countries.
Dr. Kulisz is an active naturopathic health practitioner and a
business consultant.
His other interests include healthcare economics and the delivery of
effective, low-cost treatments. His
residential rejuvenation programs
reflect the best of prevention with natural health restoration providing
long-term health benefits and quality of life. He believes the
application of basic science in medicine, the growth of naturopathy, and
nutritional treatments play important roles in accomplishing this goal.
He also stresses the importance of patients' learned and active
participation in their treatments.
Dr. Kulisz has published a number of
articles in various journals,
developed and led several
seminars,
and wrote Drips, Leaks and Low
Spirits – Woman’s Guide to Bladder Control, Infections and Depression.

He is a graduate of the Maritime Academy in Poland, the Aviation
Institute in Russia, and the Knightsbridge University (EU) with a
doctorate in applications of physics in medicine. He received his
American naturopathic degree by examination and advanced standing
from the Southern College of Naturopathic Medicine (presently Arkansas
College of Natural Health).
Dr. Kulisz is a registered naturopath in the District of Columbia,
accredited in all countries of the European Union, board certified by
the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and board certified
by the American Alternative Medical Association.
